Suns v Crows preview
If the Suns are to make finals for the first time in their history, these are the games they must win.
Currently 11th on the AFL table, equal on 24 points with the Western Bulldogs, they are two wins outside that elusive top eight winning four of their last five including equal ladder leaders Fremantle.
Their opposition on Sunday afternoon continues their rebuild with four wins from 12 matches this season including a 31-point victory over West Coast at home before the bye.
Gold Coast also had the bye last round after back-to-back wins over Hawthorn and North Melbourne in Darwin. They welcome back big man Levi Casboult from a calf complaint but in a huge blow prior to the bye, midfielder Lachie Weller has been ruled out for the season with an ACL injury torn against the Kangaroos.
With contract speculation continuing to follow him, Taylor Walker will be hoping to repeat the six goals he slotted in the last meeting with Gold Coast, won by his Crows in early April 2021.
