Traditional rivals Richmond and Carlton get round 14 underway with the Blues vying for equal top spot. Here’s how to watch the match and catch up on all the news in the lead-up.
Tigers v Blues preview
Carlton was expected to improve under Michael Voss, but top of the table? Perhaps not. And that is exactly where the Blues will find themselves with a win over arch rivals Richmond, albeit temporarily.
Blues’ midfielder Adam Cerra is out with hamstring soreness for Thursday night against the ninth-placed Tigers. It is a ladder position Richmond and its fans were all too familiar with until breaking their 37-year premiership drought in 2017.
Power forward Tom Lynch is expected to end three weeks on the sidelines, with his own hamstring injury, while superstar Dusty Martin will miss the match with the flu.
Last week’s debutant for Richmond, Judson Clarke looks set to retain his place.
