Tigers v Eagles preview
Dion Prestia misses this match with concussion from the widely reported hit by Tom Stewart to the Richmond midfielder’s head last Saturday, which has earned the Geelong backman four weeks on the sidelines.
Premiership ruckman Ivan Soldo is set to return from the interchange, the same week three-time All Australian Nic Naitanui returns, setting up a fascinating ruck battle. Gun forward Josh Kennedy is still being managed for a hamstring injury.
Naitanui has not played since round four due to a medial ligament injury in one of the Eagles’ only two wins this season against Collingwood.
West Coast (17th) posted its second win of the season against the ever inconsistent Bombers last Friday night and make their first visit to the MCG this season on Sunday.
By contrast, Richmond (9th) has played 10 of their 14 matches at the hallowed ground this year. The Tigers enter Sunday outside the eight on percentages.

History between the Tigers and Eagles
The last meeting between these sides in late April was a night to forget for West Coast belted by more than 100 points at home. It broke a run of six results between them favouring the hosts.
At Optus Stadium, earlier in the year, Richmond’s Tom Lynch kicked seven goals in his 200th AFL game, ably supported by Jack Riewoldt with four among the Tigers’ 25.
West Coast’s Josh Kennedy kicked four himself including his 700th AFL goal on an otherwise dreadful night for his side.
