It was certainly a Super Saturday for plenty of SuperCoaches, with a number of big names impressing.

Those that captained Isaac Heeney were will reap major rewards after his 165-point showing.

Bulldogs midfield duo Marcus Bontempelli and Tom Liberatore also starred with 139 points and 159 points respectively.

Cheapie Jeremy Sharp was exceptional against the Blues wit 126 points, while Hayden Young built upon his return to form last week with a 119.

Sydney’s James Jordon and Geelong’s Jhye Clark - who was subbed out of the game - both sit in over 50 per cent of teams and were disappointing with 57 and 28 points respectively.

Geelong held on for a narrow four-point win over the Bulldogs in a great contest, while Carlton downed Fremantle by 10 points in controversial circumstances despite trailing with less than a minute to go.

Earlier in the day, the Swans survived a big scare from the lowly Eagles to run away 26-point victors.

Relive all the action and SuperCoach analysis from the day below

FT: Cats hang on

It wasn’t an easy victory, but it was certainly a deserving one, with Geelong holding off yet another Bulldogs surge late to claim a four-point victory.

Tom Liberatore’s exceptional contested game was rewarded with 159 SuperCoach points while Bontempelli had 139 points in a typically impressive display. The 6.4 per cent of SuperCoaches that own Libba will no doubt be thrilled

Once-popular ruck option Tim English - who sits in just 12 per cent of teams this season due to his monster $700,000 price tag - managed 120 points.

Cats forwards Gryan Miers, Jeremy Cameron, and Tyson Stengle all managed 100+ scores. Miers and Cameron were heavily involved in Geelong’s scoring with eight and 12 score involvements respectively.

Dogs cheapies Ryley Sanders and Sam Darcy did more than enough for their owners and both finished on 83 points.

Tom Stewart was underwhelming in defence with just 77 points, a score the 25 per cent of SuperCoaches that own him won’t be thrilled with.

Jhye Clark, who’s in just shy of 100,000 teams was a let down for any coaches who had him on the field, managing 28 points before he was subbed out.

10:55pm: They couldn’t, could they?

The Cats left the door ever so slightly ajar after missing two set shots two ice the game, but Bailey Williams didn’t miss his chance to convert for the Dogs. One minute left, Dogs need a goal to win.

10:46pm: A night of almosts

We’ve almost seen plenty of mark of the year contenders, with a plenty of players flying but failing to stick the grab.

Naughton was the latest installment, getting some serious air and having a great opportunity with both arms on the footy but it bobbled out of his chest. Just minutes earlier Bontempelli came close to a spectacular, while Dempsey very nearly held an all-timer earlier in the night.

10:36pm: Ugle-Hagan squeezes it through, Libba hits personal best

After a missing a chance for goal minutes earlier, Ugle-Hagan squeezed through a set shot for his second of the night. He’s played a solid game and looked threatening at times.

It came as Tom Liberatore ticked over a career-high 14 clearances, and then 15. He’s amassed 133 SuperCoach points and also has 23 contested possessions, 10 score involvements, and 8 tackles. Some showing.

10:32pm: Cats strike first, activate sub

After a dominant opening few minutes from the Dogs, Geelong critically found the first goal of the final term through Oliver Henry.

Not long after the Cats sub was activated, with Jhye Clark subbed out for Mark O’Connor, who went straight to Bontempelli.

3QT: What a game

An enthralling final term awaits, with the Dogs led by midfield duo Bontempelli and Liberatore - refusing to lie down.

Bont and Libba are both having exceptional games and are leading the way in SuperCoach scoring as the only two players to crack the ton so far.

Sam Darcy is also having a brilliant game and has 69 SuperCoach points to show, while Sanders has 68.

Emerging 21-year-old Cat Ollie Dempsey has also showed the x-factor potential he possesses, and has 76 SuperCoach points, while Jeremy Cameron has 71 but has had fingerprints on so many Geelong scores.

10:15pm: Dogs add to highlights, activate sub

The Dogs just keep on keeping on. Let the Cats break away, then pull them back. It’s like clockwork.

And the past two goals were some impressive highlights, with Bontempelli nailing one from long range before Rhylee West flew for a spectacular, juggling one-handed grab.

The Bulldogs have also activated their sub, with Jack Macrae entering the game for Caleb Daniel in a tactical switch.

10:11pm: Stengle has four

Tyson Stengle is having some quarter, botting three in the third term alone to give himself four the match. The Cats again look like pulling away, how will the Dogs respond?

9:58pm: Never say die

It’s the Dogs who have the Cats on a leash tonight. They’re happy to let them run away out in front, but they keep pulling them back.

Everytime a blowout looms, the Dogs find another gear, and they now have two majors on the trot to trail by just 10 after Geelong slotted three in a row.

Sam Darcy slotted his third of the night, before Weightman bobbed up for his second.

9:54pm: Score review helps Cats to three in a row

The umpire had given the all-clear for a behind but it was called back by the ARC.

To the naked eye Tyson Stengle appeared to have marked the footy well behind the goalline, however a slowed-down score review revealed his hands made contact with the footy before it passed the line and the mark was awarded, with Stengle snapping it through coolly.

9:49pm: Jezza - finally - has two

It was a very quick reply for Geelong after Liberatore nailed the first of the half for the Dogs, courtesy of Jeremy Cameron.

Cameron’s athleticism was on full display as he motored towards the forward 50 to get back the handball he gave before a beautiful snap on the run was ushered through by Hawkins.

9:47pm: It just gets better for Libba

He was already the leading SuperCoach scorer on the ground and had 10 clearances and 15 contested possessions in a touch over a half of footy, but he’s also slotted the first goal of the third term to put the Dogs within three. They have the past two goals of the game now.

HT: Dogs stay in touch

A goal late in the half from Rhylee West has put the Dogs back within nine points after Geelong threatened to pull away.

You could argue Geelong should be further in front but both teams have had patches of dominance. An enticing second-half awaits.

Jeremy Cameron has continued to defy his status as a key forward, racking up 14 disposals and eight score involvements. He could well have a bag under his belt already, but he’s been wasteful with 1.4 in front of goal.

In SuperCoach, two popular Bulldogs cheapies could well crack the coveted ton. Ryley Sanders first half of 11 first-half disposals and four tackles has seen him rewarded with 52 points, while Sam Darcy’s two second-quarter goal propelled him to 47 points.

Unsurprisingly, Bontempelli has 70 points after a dominant start, while contested bull Tom Liberatore has amassed 78. Libba has led the battle at the coal face with eight clearances and 14 contested possessions.

9:09pm: Dempsey magic

Get your boot on it and hope for the best. That theory certainly worked for Ollie Dempsey, who produced some close-range magic to give the Cats a nine-point buffer.

Dempsey was being slung and could barely see the goal but managed to drop the ball on his boot and get enough on it for it to trickle through.

9:01pm: Dogs hit the lead - but it’s short-lived

Before I’d even finished typing about Jamarra Ugle-Hagan’s first of the night handing the Bulldogs the lead, Max Holmes replied for Geelong to put the Cats put in front. They lead by two and the game is beginning to open up.

8:55pm: That way, no, this way

Ryley Sanders looked up and there was nothing but space in front of him.

He dashed down the wing, took a bounce, and thought, ‘hang on, is this too good to be true?’

Yes, yes it was. With a wry smile the youngster realised he was going the wrong way and turned around with no harm done.

8:52pm: That’s classy, Darcy

Was that roar Bulldogs fans cheering or SuperCoaches rejoicing?

Probably a bit of both.

Just shy of 50,000 coaches traded Dracy in this week and they’ve been rewarded early as he slots the first goal of the second term.

QT: Cats lead by eight

Geelong hasn’t trailed at any break for the entire season. We’re one quarter down, and that streak is still intact.

The Cats finished the first term strongly to kick the final two majors and take an eight-point lead into the first break. The sides have been hard to split, with Geelong leading the inside 50s by two, and the Dogs the clearances by one.

Looking to SuperCoach, Gryan Miers is already 10 points off his score from last week with 54, while $702,000 ruck Tim English has started strongly for 35 points.

The uber-premium Marcus Bontempelli, and rookie Ryley Sanders, both have 29 points under their belt.

8:33pm: Miers is on fire-s

He scored 65 SuperCoach points last week, but Gryan Miers has flown out of the blocks with 46 points to his name and still five minutes to play in the first quarter.

Has had more of the footy than anyone early with nine disposals.

8:27pm: Dogs’ quick answer

He didn’t much an abundance of space, nor time, but Jack Bowes’ 40-metre snap bent beautifully through the sticks for the first goal of the game.

When it rains, it pours, or so they say, and it proved to be the case with Harvey Gallagher slotting a goal for the Dogs less than two minutes later after we were made to wait 14 minutes for the game’s first major.

8:20pm: Even, goalless start

10 minutes of play have passed with Geelong’s two behinds the only scores.

We could be in for a close clash, with both sides appearing to be evenly matched.

8:00pm: Who are the most popular SuperCoach players tonight?

Popular rookie Ryley Sanders has the highest SuperCoach ownership going into tonight’s game. While almost half of all coaches have Marcus Bontempelli in their sides despite his lofty price tag.

FT: Blues steal 10-point win after chaotic finish, SuperCoach rookie stars

The Blues are 4-0 for the first time since 1995, and have picked up their first-ever win at Adelaide Oval.

The 10-point win came despite trailing in the final minute, and it was a finish as chaotic as they come.

Fremantle were in front for almost all of the contest and outplayed the Blues for just as much of it, yet Carlton came home with a wet sail to kick five last term goals despite having kicked as many in the preceding three quarters.

The SuperCoach scores reflected Fremantle’s dominance, with the top four scorers all donning the brilliant stealth guernsey.

The game’s leading scorer was popular rookie Jeremy Sharp - who finds himself in just under 66,000 teams - with a 126 points. Having already jumped $60k last week, his price should be set for another monumental rise. Fellow midfield Andrew Brayshaw also shone with 123 points.

Hayden Young has now strung together back-to-back 120+ scores after many coaches jumped off him in the early rounds. Fellow popular defensive premium Luke Ryan excelled with 110 points.

Luke Jackson was below his exceptionally high standards with 96 points, while Nat Fyfe was solid with 99.

Popular defender Zac Williams managed his best score for the season with 81 points.

6:58pm: Cottrell the hero, dissent seals it

Controversy is set to overshadow Matthew Cottrell’s last-minute heroics.

The dogged red-head grabbed a chest mark straight in front 30 metres out and slotted it. The goal came to Freo’s dismay after they pled and pled that the ball was touched. But so much so that they gave away another free kick for dissent, with Matt Kennedy the man to kick Carlton’s second goal in 15 seconds from straight in front. The game is as good as done, with Freo needing two goals in less than 30 seconds.

6:53pm: Who needs two arms?

Charlie Curnow is a showman.

With the clock ticking and the Blues needing two goals to win, he’s a pulled a one-armed chest mark out of the bag and converted the set shot.

Curnow has 3.2, 12 disposals and 12 marks. There’s two points in it.

6:47pm: Bang bang

Keeping in tune with the narrow nature of this game, the Dockers are back in front and out to a nine-point buffer after two goals in quick succession.

Jeremy Sharp found space close to goal and capitalised, before a free kick to Michael Walters allowed the Dockers to extend their lead.

6:43pm: Free puts Blues in front

A touch-and-go holding the man decision against Josh Draper handed Matt Kennedy a set shot goal from straight in front. The call meant Carlton nabbed a three-point lead.

It’s just the Blues third time in front and they’ve led for a total of less than 10 minutes.

6:41pm: Accuracy matters

Neither side is grabbing this game and running away with it.

With eight minutes to play in the third term, there’s only been one goal kicked in the final term with both Freo and Carlton kicking two behinds apiece.

3QT: Young’s stunning third term

The Dockers have taken a nine-point lead into three-quarter-time. It’s been a tense match for the entirety of the contest, with both teams unable to build a significant lead in the low-scoring match.

In terms of SuperCoach, Hayden Young had an outstanding 56-point third term to shoot to 92 points and make amends for his slow start.

The 8,500 SuperCoaches that traded Nat Fyfe out during the week - myself included - will be feeling serious regret. Well-priced at $319,200, Fyfe is on track to beat his best score of the season (103) with 92 points with a quarter to play.

6:14pm: Tempers flare after nasty shot on Fyfe

Tempers flared after Lachie Fogarty’s outstretched arm appeared to collect Freo champion Nat Fyfe in the throat, with a serious melee erupting and a 50m penalty ensuing.

Whether Fogarty has anything to answer for remains to be seen.

Fyfe very nearly wound back the clock to convert the subsequent free kick from the arc, but it fell just short and faded late.

6:07pm: Freo the forward 50 pressure kings

Talk about letting your opponent know about it.

Tom Emmett nabbed his second major of the game after trapping Nic Newman holding the ball in front of the goal and he loved it too, getting stuck into Newman after he converted the set shot.

Josh Treacy followed suit just minutes later, earning another holding the ball free kick in the forward 5 and converting with ease. Freo lead by six as three-quarter-time nears.

It comes after the Dockers activated a tactical sub, with Jaeger O’Meara entering the match in place of Matthew Johnson.

6:02pm: Curnow deals double blow, sub activated

Charlie Curnow has breathed life into the contest in the third term, finding a pair of goals in quick succession. The hot streak put the Blues in front and lifted Curnow to 60 SuperCoach points.

It was a bittersweet minute or so for Blues fans however, as it was also confirmed Elijah Hollands was subbed out of the game with a possible hip or adductor injury after heading down to the rooms earlier

6:00pm: Fantasia close to classic

Orazio Fantasia found space, looked up, and saw an open goal square. Bugger being over 60 metres away, he let a drop punt rip and it came agonisingly close to skipping through but was undone by the backspin.

5:51pm: Dockers holding on

In a match where space has been so hard to come by, the Dockers have strung together some potent transition play early in the second half, and it led to the first major of the second half.

The goal came after a contentious free was issued against Mitch McGovern for chopping the arms and Sam Switkowski took advantage with the footy unattended on the goal-line to boot it through.

Carlton has also had its chances early in the third term.

The goal came as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands headed into the changerooms, but the details or severity of a potential injury are yet to be known. Watch this space.

HT: Three points the difference

The Blues looked as good as they had all day late in the first half, but struggled to find a late goal, with Freo leading by just three points in a low-scoring affair. The Dockers pressure has been exceptional, and they have 10 smother to two to show for it.

Looking to SuperCoach, James Aish has almost bested his round three score of 88 with 79 first-half points. It’s great news for the 847 coaches that have him in their side.

Popular defensive option Hayden Young, who finds himself in close to 30,000 sides, has been the biggest underperformer so far, and it’s far from a disaster at that with 38 points to the half.

Patrick Cripps is mounting his case as a solid POD midfield option as he tracks towards a third consecutive ton. He is however already valued at $548,100 and has a breakeven of just 79.

5:20pm: Will lack of scoring haunt Freo?

The Blues are starting to find their footing in the contest as half-time nears, and it could spell bad news for Freo after a dominant start to the match. The Dockers shut Carlton, but only managed four goals through the best part of the first half, and the Blues are now forcing repeat forward 50 entries and have three behinds on the trot.

5:10pm: Freo begin to reap rewards

Slender it may be, but the Dockers have pulled away to the biggest lead of the game with a two-goal buffer against the Blues.

It’s just reward for a brilliant start to the match, with Carlton comfortably being outplayed. The Blues are being whacked out of the centre square and are struggling to find to move the ball forward quickly or find general cohesion going forward.

5:07pm: Williams hitting his straps

Williams is the most owned SuperCoach player in this match, but has been yet to reach the scoring highs many had hoped for this season with an average of just 64.7. The 59 per cent of coaches that have him in their sides will be hoping that changes today, and it very well could as he’s started hot to find himself on 43 points with 10 minutes to play in the second term.

QT: Defenders leading the way in tight affair

Fremantle restricted Carlton expertly throughout the first term, but have been yet to punish the Blues on the scoreboard themselves, with just a single point splitting the sides.

In terms of SuperCoach scoring, defenders Jacob Weitering and Luke Ryan led the way as both teams struggled to score freely.

Popular forward-ruck Luke Jackson also made another strong start with 31 points, while superb POD option Jordan Clark made his mark with 34 points.

4:47pm: Cripps delivers

It hasn’t been a free-flowing opening term, and after a testing start the Blues have found another goal to remain in touch, with Cripps pushing forward and converting a set shot from the arc to leave his side trailing by one. The Blues may need him back in the middle however, with just three clearances across the whole opening term.

4:40pm: Oh, Harry

Harry McKay has been one of the hottest key forwards throughout the opening rounds of the season, but that doesn’t make him immune to mistakes. He had a straight forward set shot from 15 metres out, but opted to play on before being mowed down and losing possession.

4:37pm: Serong’s quiet start

He’s averaging 36 disposals this season and has racked up as many as 46 touches in a game this season, but Serong suffered an uncharacteristically quiet start to the game, made to wait 16 minutes for his first touch of the footy. It was an uncharacteristic one too as he skewed the kick and missed his target.

4:35pm: Dockers find early momentum

After a conceding the first goal of the match, the Dockers have responded to kick two majors on the trot. The Dockers lead marginally in inside 50s and have seven clearances to one.

4:27pm: Cerra strikes first

The Dockers have had their opportunities early but failed to find a major, with Carlton’s Adam Cerra striking for the first goal of the match. The Blues have a four-point lead early at Adelaide Oval.

4:20pm: Sydney v West Coast SuperCoach analysis

Isaac Heeney had a day out with 166 points to lead all players in SuperCoach. He’ll certainly make some players very happy. Elliot Yeo had his best game in a couple of years with 131 with Nick Blakey also in the 130s with 138. Errol Gulden got to 135. The only other player to crack 100 was Jeremy McGovern who got to 113. Harley Reid fell short but had his best game with 91. Tom Papley (14) and James Jordan (51) had tough days for SuperCoach coaches.

4:13pm: Final score

Sydney gets the win but all the talk will be about how competitive West Coast was. The team took it to the Swans for three and a bit terms and finally showed some fight, compared to some times last year when it was clear there wasn’t any. Harley Reid also had his best game for the club with Isaac Heeney the best for Sydney. Scores: 15.14.(104) to 11.12.(78)

4:05pm: Sub made for Swans

Taylor Adams comes off after a successful first game back for his new club. Caleb Mitchell is on for him. Adams was able to score 97 points before he was subbed out. A very good return from the midfielder.

4:02pm: Game over for Eagles

Sydney finally gets away from West Coast and lead by seven goals with around that time remaining. It’s been a gallant effort from the Eagles but the class of Sydney has prevailed. Isaac Heeney kicked his second goal of the game and now has 150 SuperCoach points for the game.

4:00pm: Next game subs finalised

The final teams are in for Fremantle and Carlton and there are no late changes ahead of Carlton’s clash with Fremantle this afternoon. Matthew Owies will line up as the sub for the Blues, while Jaeger O’Meara has been named as the Dockers sub. The respective subs will leave SuperCoaches unaffected, with both players in less than 300 teams. The game starts in 20 minutes.

3:52pm: Sydney kicks away

Sydney scores the first two goals of the final term and lead by 28 points. It is going to be tough for the Eagles to come back from here.

3:48pm: Maric off to hospital

The Eagles are down to three on the bench with Ryan Maric off to hospital with a rib injury. He was involved in a friendly fire incident in the third term and was crunched in a contest. He won’t play any more part in the contest and could be out for a couple of weeks. Maric scored 36 points before he was taken off.

3:42pm: Heeney’s large quarter

Isaac Heeney scores 58 points in the third term to move to 116 at the final break. He is the number one SuperCoach player on the ground. The midfielder had eight disposals, one tackle, and kicked a goal to have a good term. Joining him on 100 points is Nick Blakey who is now up to 22 disposals. West Coast defender Liam Duggan also cracked 100 in the quarter and will be joined by Elliot Yeo who ended the term on 98. Harley Reid is on track for his first 100 point game, currently on 79. Tom Papley is still on six points for SuperCoach after scoring zero in the third term.

3:35pm: Sydney leads at final change

Will Hayward kicks a goal in the final minute to give Sydney a 15-point margin heading into the final term. Eagles player Harley Reid gave away a 50 metre penalty to give Hayward the chance to score. Will it be enough for the Swans with the Eagles having the breeze in the final term. Score: 10.10.(70) to 8.7.(55).

3:23pm: Heeney delivers again

SuperCoaches with Isaac Heeney will be very happy once again. He’s had a strong third term to rise from 58 at half time to 96. Heeney is on track to score 140+

3:20pm: Scoring dries up

The Eagles are continuing to fight and are only down by eight points with almost half the term remaining.

3:10pm: Swans back in the lead

Sydney kicks the first two goals of the quarter to lead by seven points. This is a big 10 minutes for the Eagles in the context of the game.

3:00pm Yeo the leader

Elliot Yeo is the leading SuperCoach player on the ground with 77 points. He could be on track for his largest score in a couple of years. His teammate and Eagles captain Liam Duggan is second on 75. Nick Blakey has stormed to third on 66 points after getting nine disposals in the second quarter to have 15 for the game. Jeremy McGovern, Chad Warner and Isaac Heeney also had solid halves of football to be on 61, 60 and 58 respectively. Harley Reid had his best half of SuperCoach and is on 45. Can he crack the ton for the first time. It’s been a quiet half for Tom Papley who only has six points. James Jordan is also on 25 after averaging almost 80 when the Swans were without some other midfielders. Finally, Tim Kelly is only on 34 after only having seven disposals for the first half.

2:46pm: Eagles rock!

The West Coast Eagles have stunned the Sydney Swans and lead by five points at half time. The team kicked five goals to three to not only win their first quarter for the year but lead for the first time this season at a break. Can the upset happen? It’s one half away if the Eagles can continue this form. Score: 7.6.(48) to 6.7.(43).

2:44pm: McGovern is tough

Jeremy McGovern goes in to bump a Sydney player and contact is made to his face. In the process he loses a tooth. Does he come off the ground? Nope. Instead, he hands his tooth to the doctor and continues players. What a player.

2:37pm: Eagles on track to win first quarter this year

West Coast now leads by nine points after a goal by Jake Waterman. The Eagles have kicked the past four goals of the game.

2:32pm: Eagles make their sub

Luke Edwards has been taken off with a hamstring injury. Loch Rawlinson is on for his first ever game. He is also a local with Rawlinson from Mount Lofty, which is about 30 minutes from where the game is being played in Mount Barker. Edwards had 33 points before he was forced from the field.

2:30pm: Yeo rises to the lead

Elliot Yeo is the leading SuperCoach player on the ground and he is on fire this quarter. He scored 34 points in the first term and has added another 38 points in the first half of the second term. He’s currently on 72. Yeo has had 12 disposals and five tackles.

2:28pm: Eagles continue to fight

Sydney extends the margin to 16 points with two quick goals but West Coast fights back. The Eagles respond with the next three goals and lead again. Harley Reid is having his best game at the club.

2:10pm: SuperCoach first quarter review

Eagles captain Liam Duggan claimed the lead late and went top 42 points after having 10 disposals, five marks and one tackle. He was joined by his Eagles teammate Jeremy McGovern with 40 points and 13 disposals. The best Sydney player was Errol Gulden with 37 points. He had eight disposals, two marks and three tackles. The winger also kicked a goal. Isaac Heeney also had a solid start with 30 points. Harley Reid, despite kicking his first goal, only got 19 points as he got three touches but conceded a free kick. Others to struggle early included Chad Warner (16), James Jordan (7), Jake Lloyd (5), Bailey Williams (4) and Tom Papley (3). Papley had five disposals but struggled to score any points.

2:05pm: Quarter time

It looked ugly early but West Coast have fought back well to be right in the contest at quarter time despite Sydney leading. West Coast led by two points half way through the first term before two late Sydney goals gave the Swans an 11-point lead. Score: 3.5.(23) to 2.0.(12).

2:00pm: Eagle and Swan leads SuperCoach

Jack Darling and Errol Gulden lead all SuperCoach players with 41 points closing in on quarter time.

1:55pm: Adams gets his first goal

Taylor Adams doesn’t take long to kick his first goal in Sydney colours. He’s able to snap a goal from 15 metres out and his teammates get around him. After the Eagles took the lead in the middle of the first term, the Swans have responded, kicking the last two to lead by 10 points.

1:48pm: Eagles now lead

The first goal for Reid has ignited the Eagles. Jamie Cripps kicks the second goal of the game for the team and West Coast leads by two points.

1:46pm: Reid gets his first goal

Harley Reid shows why he was picked number one last year. He’s playing full forward and the ball bounces towards him. He breaks away from his opponent, grabs the ball, powers away and snaps his first goal in Eagles colours. The kid has arrived!

1:43pm: Swans players scoring well early

The first terms hasn’t even got to halfway yet and nine Sydney players have scored more than 10 points. Logan McDonald leads all players on the ground with 25, after kicking the first goal. Brodie Grundy has started well and is currently on 20.

1:38pm: Sydney on top early

Logan McDonald kicks the first goal for Sydney and it’s looking ugly early. Sydney leads inside 50s 4-0.

1:30pm: Game underway

Game has started and Sydney is kicking to the left of screen, which gives them the breeze for the opening term.

1:20pm: SuperCoach watch

The most SuperCoach eyes will be on Harley Reid ($242,200) with almost 80 per cent owning him. Currently, he’s averaging 65 points per game, which is okay, but teams might want more points or they will trade him. His fourth game will be interesting against a powerhouse midfield like Sydney. Isaac Heeney ($591,000) is one of the in-form SuperCoach players, averaging 139 points this season. With him playing in the midfield and also kicking goals he’s living up to his potential. Will that continue today? The leading West Coast player is Jeremy McGovern ($518,000) with the defender averaging 124 points per game. He had 120 points last week. If he plays defence you’d expect him to get a lot of the ball again. But the talk is he might be put up forward, which would compromise his scoring if the ball doesn’t get there. Taylor Adams ($437,200) is another player to look at to see how he goes in the Sydney midfield and if he is fully recovered from his injury.
