Final field and barrier draw for the Group 1 C.F Orr Stakes at Caulfield
Star galloper Mr Brightside headlines a nine horse field for the 2024 C.F Orr Stakes where he’s drawn barrier four.

Mr Brightside has drawn well in his quest to capture another Group 1 in Saturday’s C.F Orr Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield.
The Ben, Will and JD Hayes-trained galloper will step from barrier four in the nine-horse field that includes the likes of Veight, Pride Of Jenni and Atishu.
Godolphin’s Pericles is also set to line up and has drawn barrier five with Mark Zahra to ride.
The race will be run at 4.55pm AEDT.
Meanwhile, a handful of Melbourne’s top two-year-olds will be out to cement a spot in the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes.
Ten of the boys have accepted for the Blue Diamond Prelude for colts and geldings, and among those is the promising High Octane.
The highest priced yearling ever sold by Deep Field is a stakes winner on debut.

The fillies edition has a capacity field of 16, plus one emergency.
Other feature races on Caulfield’s card include the Group 2 Autumn Stakes, Group 2 Rubiton Stakes, Group 3 Carlyon Cup, and Group 3 Peter Le Grand Stakes.
