Surrounded by friends and family, Wally's  best man was none other than the great Gene Miles who played club level footy with Wally back in the 1980's, before the pair would go on to represent Queensland and Australia. Guests were later transported by coach to one of Brisbane's finest wedding reception venues - the nearby Old Government House.
