Rugby League legend Wally ''the king' Lewis, 65, has married his new 'queen' Lynda Adams in a picturesque ceremony at Brisbane's iconic heritage-listed St. Mary's Anglican church at Kangaroo Point. Surrounded by friends and family, Wally's best man was none other than the great Gene Miles who played club level footy with Wally back in the 1980's, before the pair would go on to represent Queensland and Australia. Guests were later transported by coach to one of Brisbane's finest wedding reception venues - the nearby Old Government House. Nestled in the centre of Brisbane city, the heritage traditional sandstone oasis features a grand entrance hall complete with a beautiful staircase and hand-crafted Swarovski chandelier. The newlyweds are said to have spared no expense for their lavish reception, which will feature a number of local Queensland delicacies, and plenty of Wally's favourite XXXX beer! ÔCREDIT: WP Media
