Best BBL catches of all time: Highlights, have your say

It almost feels unfair to compare two of the greatest fielders Australia has ever produced.

Both are capable of the spectacular and have the ability to make what for most seems impossible possible.

It came down to Maxwell’s outrageous boundary catch against Brisbane and a Silk stunner from a decade ago when we were deciding the BBL’s greatest catch of all time.

1. JORDAN SILK – SIXERS V HEAT — BBL03

“It was probably at a time where I hadn’t done a lot in terms of my Sixers career to date and it was a nice moment. To reel that one in and get a bit of love from the guys and it probably made people more aware of the fielding ability I have so that was a nice moment. “I literally practice that thing for like 15 minutes before the game every time I play and that’s the most perfect one that’s ever come in that position.
